Highlights from the program
Your training begins with your own experience and builds outward from there. You'll deepen your practice, explore the wisdom and science behind meditation, and progressively develop the skills to teach with clarity, confidence, and care.
Begin as a learner. Establish your own meditation and mindfulness practice before stepping into the role of teacher.
Go beyond technique to understand the traditions behind mantra meditation and learn how to share them in an accessible and relevant way.
Explore how meditation and mindfulness relate to the brain, nervous system, stress response, awareness, and well-being.
Develop the practical skills to guide new meditators, explain the practice clearly, and create meaningful learning experiences.
Build a broader range of practices so you can meet different students, environments, and intentions with flexibility.
Bring together everything you've learned with a thoughtful approach to ethics, inclusion, trauma-informed teaching, and responsible facilitation.
The progression is intentional: first experience the practices yourself, then understand them more deeply, and finally learn how to share them responsibly with others.
The learning experience
Your learning happens through a combination of structured curriculum, live faculty support, personal practice, and real teaching experience. Each element is designed to help you move beyond understanding the material to actually being able to use it.
Follow a clear week-by-week progression that builds knowledge, practice, and teaching skills over time.
Deepen the teachings, ask questions, explore real-world application, and practice alongside faculty.
Experience the practices for yourself so your teaching is grounded in direct understanding.
Complete 10 hours of teaching practice to strengthen your voice, confidence, and real-world facilitation skills.
Continue practicing alongside students and alumni through ongoing community meditation experiences.
To complete the certification, you'll participate in the live or recorded seminar experience, complete a 10-hour Practice Teaching Log, and successfully complete a final open-book assessment.
